A tour to enjoy and experience some of Qatar’s history and culture. First on the list is to visit the camel race track to see how the racing camels are trained and if you are lucky you may witness a race on progress and the new and unique robot jockeys. All of the camels are dromedaries, meaning they only have one hump. These camels can measure more than 7 feet tall and weighs up to 700kg. Then you will drive and visit the Sheikh Faisal Museum. Shk. Faisal is the grand-son of Jassim, who defeated the Ottomans in battle, while in his eighties and is regarded by some as the founder of Qatar. Shk. Faisal has been collecting antiques since the 1960s. He has them all beautifully displayed in the Museum exhibition halls.
